PROJECT GUNSHIP





I have launched my own project to bring the Half Life 2 android Gunship to reality by the means of key aspects i will be addressing which will serve as "definitive" description as to what i am really trying to achieve.
For sure it won't be a simple make & forget or just for fun robot that most hobbyist intend to make in their free time.

After much thought on my previous struggles and limitation to understand and create sub-systems of a true life-form from its Artificial Intelligence to organic mechanics (only in concept), I have decided to pursue the following design goal :

Design Goal and Purpose
My Hl2 Gunship will be primarily designed to be a platform of Artificial Testing testing.

This means that the mechanics needs to be really strict so as to offer fluidity towards for all possible movement that would eventually affect its maneuver during flight.


Stab in the Dark
The only source i have is Half life 2 smd model of gunship. The only information i can gather is the unique outer of shape of the gunship. Upon de-constructing the 3d- model, it was becoming really obvious that the Author of the gunship model himself didn't give it enough thought to produce a sensible model.

Features
I am aiming the gunship to have following unique features (this section is subjected to change):
  • High voltage 9V AC 1.5 Amp power supply rail
  • Muscle Strand based on Electromagnetic design based concept on Charge repulsion by Dielectric capacitance
  • Video/Audio wireless Transmission from Camera and microphone sensor through VSM modulation.
  • Linux operating system for intricate handling of AI
  • QAM modulation and de-modulation for wireless transmission and receiving of data.
  • USB communication, Wireless and connection Port for Receiving Command instructions, Sensor readings hardware memory allocations and A.I analysis from  Linux OS.
  • RTOS for Kinematics using Atmel Atmega series microcontroller.
  • Skin sensor offering pressure and temperature changes on gunship shell.
