My response:
He probably means science is a matter of perspective, u look at data from any point of reference that may be infinite and solve patterns only to temporarily conclude that the very pattern can modeled more precisely than other perspectives and so forth in pursuit to see through perspective of the ORIGIN that in the end through all perspectives different aspects of the same is viewed.
THUS, i can be said it begins with a matter of opinion and even to predict a theory can be said a matter of opinion unless proven otherwise. I mean lets face it all particle physics theories r still waiting for HD collider to prove them
